Cancellation policy

Face-to-face programs

  • Cancellations made more than 8 weeks before the presentation date: A full refund of the amount paid will be given for cancellations made 8 weeks or more prior to the scheduled presentation date. Any refunded amount will be calculated less a $150 AUD cancellation fee, less the cost of any parts or presentations already delivered, and less the cost of travel/accommodation when applicable.
  • Cancellations made within 4-8 weeks before presentation date: 50% of the deposited amount will be refunded for cancellations made within 4-8 weeks before the scheduled presentation date. If the full fee was paid, 80% will be refunded. Any refunded amount will be calculated less a $150 AUD cancellation fee, less the cost of any parts or presentations already delivered, and less the cost of travel/accommodation when applicable.
  • Cancellations made within 8 days-4 weeks before presentation date: 30% of the deposited amount will be refunded for cancellations made within 8 days-4 weeks before the scheduled presentation date. If the full fee was paid, 70% will be refunded. Any refunded amount will be calculated less a $150 AUD cancellation fee, less the cost of any parts or presentations already delivered, and less the cost of travel/accommodation when applicable.
  • Cancellations within 7 days of presentation date: No refund will be given for cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled presentation date. However, presentations may be rescheduled (see rescheduling policy).

     

  • If, after the delivery of part 1 of the program, you decide the remaining parts of the program are not suited to you, you have a 2 week period to cancel the remaining parts of the program and receive a full refund of your payment towards the remaining undelivered parts of the program (less a $150 AUD cancellation fee).
  • After 2 weeks following the delivery of part 1 of the program, no refunds will be provided on the amount paid or deposited for any remaining undelivered program parts. 
  • Presentations or services already delivered are not eligible for any refunds.

Travel and accommodation fees with cancellations and rescheduling
Travel and/or accommodation fees apply for bookings that require travel and/or accommodation. These fees are non-refundable in any circumstances when canceling or rescheduling.
You will be responsible for any fees Bright Girl Health incurs as a result of rescheduling or cancelling travel and accommodation associated with your booking.

Online presentations

If the full fee was paid, 80% will be refunded. Any refunded amount will be calculated less any postage fees and less a $150 AUD cancellation fee.

Rescheduling policy

Face to face bookings
  • 15 days or more notice given:
    Rescheduling requests made with 15 days or more notice of the presentation date will not incur a rescheduling fee. However, rescheduling a booking may incur additional accommodation fees and additional travel fees, when applicable. You will be responsible for any fees Bright Girl Health incurs as a result of rescheduling travel and accommodation associated with your booking.
    A new booking date must be chosen at the time of the rescheduling request, otherwise it will be classed as a cancellation, and Face-to-face programs cancellation policy will apply.

  • 14 days or less notice given:
    A fee of $150 AUD will apply to reschedule your booking when 14 days or less notice is given. Rescheduling a booking may also incur additional accommodation fees and additional travel fees, when applicable. You will be responsible for any fees Bright Girl Health incurs as a result of rescheduling travel and accommodation associated with your booking.
    A new booking date must be chosen at the time of the rescheduling request, otherwise it will be classed as a cancellation, and Face-to-face programs cancellation policy will apply.

Online presentations

Tours - cancellations and rescheduling

Bookings within tours – Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 8 weeks before the tour commencement date: A full refund of the amount paid will be given for cancellations made 8 weeks or more prior to the scheduled tour commencement date. Any refunded amount will be calculated less a $150 AUD cancellation fee, less the cost of any parts or presentations already delivered, and less the cost of travel/accommodation when applicable.
  • Cancellations made within 6-8 weeks before the tour commencement date: 50% of the deposited amount will be refunded for cancellations made within 6-8 weeks before the scheduled tour commencement date. If the full fee was paid, 80% will be refunded. Any refunded amount will be calculated less a $150 AUD cancellation fee, less the cost of any parts or presentations already delivered, and less the cost of travel/accommodation when applicable.
  • Cancellations within 6 weeks of tour commencement date: No refund will be given for cancellations made within 6 weeks of the scheduled tour commencement date. 

You will be responsible for any fees Bright Girl Health incurs as a result of cancelling or rescheduling travel and accommodation associated with your booking.

Bookings within tours – Rescheduling
We will work with you to try and find a solution to reschedule your booking as part of a tour, however, this may not always be possible.
Rescheduling bookings within a tour can incur additional fees, including administration fees, tour extension fees, additional accommodation fees, and additional travel fees.
You will be responsible for any fees Bright Girl Health incurs as a result of rescheduling travel and accommodation associated with your booking.
There is no guarantee that we will be able to reschedule your booking within the same tour. In this case your booking will be classed as a cancellation (see Bookings within tours – Cancellations). 

Bookings within tours – Travel and accommodation fees

Travel and/or accommodation fees apply for bookings that require travel and/or accommodation as part of a tour. These fees are non-refundable in any circumstances when cancelling or rescheduling tours.

 

Presentations or services already delivered are not eligible for any refunds.

COVID-19 and Public Health Orders

Reasons for cancelling or rescheduling that fall under a Public Health Order (PHO) or COVID-19 circumstance:

  • Cancellation/reschedule due to lockdown mandates or Public Health Orders
  • Cancellation/reschedule due to PHO restrictions placed upon a school that prevents a presentation from going ahead
  • Cancellation/reschedule due to organising teacher(s) or a large portion of students unable to attend school due to being required to quarantine or lockdown.

Face to face presentations:
If a presentation needs to be postponed due to new restrictions placed on schools by the government, no rescheduling fee will apply. If you choose to cancel your presentation, face-to-face programs cancellation policy applies. 

Online presentations:
If a presentation needs to be postponed due to new restrictions placed on schools by the government, no rescheduling fee will apply. If you choose to cancel your presentation, online programs cancellation policy applies. 

Bright Girl Health cancellations/rescheduling:
Bright Girl Health reserves the right to cancel or postpone a program or presentation at any time in the event that one of our team contracts COVID-19, is required to self isolate, or cannot perform the serve due to a PHO or restriction. In this case, your program can be rescheduled without a fee.
If you do not wish to reschedule, a cancellation fee will apply.
