Host a fun and engaging menstrual health & wellbeing presentation delivered as an online video experience. It can be delivered to large groups, or to small groups across multiple rooms simultaneously.

Suited for: 
•  Youth organisations outside our Sydney servicing areas
•  A more affordable presentation option

How it works: 
•  Choose a date to host your online presentation
• Join the presentation via a link we will send you and project it for your young people
•  You will be provided with a ‘facilitator manual’ to help facilitate fun break-away activities for your young people throughout the presentation.
• We recommend gathering your young people and making it a fun wellbeing event

You will receive:
• The online presentation link on your chosen date
• FREE period care products for each attendee posted to you (subject to supply)
• A booklet of activities for future use.
• A parent resource to send home.

2 hour event

Work with your cycle, not against it!
• The 4 phases of the menstrual cycle.
• Understanding emotional, physical, behavioural changes throughout the menstrual cycle.
• Break away group activities for attendees to participate in.
• Build positive body image.
• Understand the reproductive anatomy and the menstrual cycle.
• Ovulation, and why it impacts the timing of periods.
• Identifying when pregnancy is possible and when it isn’t.
• Accurately predict your next period.
• Tracking cycle signs & symptoms (ovulation symptoms, body temperature, cervical fluid).
• Discharge and cervical fluid – what’s normal?
• Sustainable period products (period cups, period underwear, pads & tampons).

Be aware of common period irregularities, and learn about tools to have a better period!
• Common teen period irregularities (period pain, PMS, missing periods).
• What’s typical and what’s not typical.
• Self-management tools for period symptoms – stress management, nutrition, exercise and sleep.
• Understanding hormones and hormone changes
• How to build support systems & seek help for menstrual health concerns.
• How to prevent menstrual health from hindering school, sport and social activities.
• Recognising reproductive health concerns and conditions (PCOS, endometriosis).
• Video interviews with teens and women who share their period experience
• On screen games to play along with

This presentation encourages a positive mindset towards the menstrual cycle by addressing stigmas and common fears. Young people learn about how they may feel different physically, mentally, emotionally and behaviourally from week to week. They learn strategies to work with these changes to thrive in school, sport and life during their period.

Young people learn about common period irregularities (heavy periods, PMS, missing periods, period pain) and are given tools to cope with these, such as nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress management. They learn help-seeking strategies to navigate present and future health challenges.

This presentation includes information about breast checks, vaginal infections, STIs, and making informed decisions about contraceptive choices, including the risks/benefits.
