Lesson 1 – The Sympto-thermal Method
- The double check sympto-thermal method and how it works (building trust in the method)
- How hormones & cycle signs show when you’re fertile
- Â When pregnancy is possible and when it isn’t (fertile window)
Lesson 2 – Charting BBT in an app
- How to track your basal body temperature (BBT) orally or with Tempdrop
- Â Recognising ovulation using your BBT chart
- Celsius and Fahrenheit tracking rules
- Using Read Your Body app to log and interpret your BBT
Lesson 3 – Cervical mucus
- How to recognise when cervical mucus means you’re fertile
- Â Identify your ‘Peak day’ in each cycle
- Tracking cervical mucus in your app
- Knowing days where chance of pregnancy is highest in real time
Lesson 4 – Identify your own fertile window
- Using calculation to open and close your fertile window
- How to interpret your charts and identify which days are fertile for you
- Identifying your own fertile window (days where chance of pregnancy is high)

In these sessions we will:
– Review your chart(s)
– Identify if/when you ovulated
– Assess if the length of your luteal (after ovulation) phase gives optimal chances of pregnancy
– Answer any questions you have

Without this personalised session, you may not be using the method properly to achieve the highest effectiveness rates and may put yourself at higher risk of unwanted pregnancy
Who this course is for:
This course is for you if:
- You have a relatively regular cycle (not more than 40 days consistently)
- You want to identify ovulation accurately You’ve found all the information on the internet about ovulation tracking difficult or confusing to implement
- You want to chart to get pregnant
- You’re avoiding pregnancy (please add on a 1-on-1 session for this goal. Without this you’re at risk on using the rules incorrectly and unintended pregnancy)
- You want to accurately track the phases of your cycle to be more in tune with your body
- You have stopped birth control & your cycle is back (if it’s not back but you’d still like to learn FAM, you must book a private 1-on-1 session)
Who this course is NOT for:
This course won’t be enough to accurately use FAM is you are:
- Pregnant <6 months portpartum
- Going through perimenopause
- Have cycles consistenly longer than 40 days (must book a private 1-on-1 session to learn if this is you)
- Using hormonal birth control (if you’re looking to stop birth control and start wth FAM, you must book a private 1-on-1 session to learn if this is you)
